            Change of use from agricultural building to 2 holiday lets and single storey side extension - approved under H06-0617-20. Modification of Condition 2 to allow amendments to previously approved plans.

Council supports this application.

H06-0286-23 Fletcher Salads, Broadgate Nursery, Broadgate, Gedney

            Conversion of agricultural building into residential dwelling including the removal of cold store building and static caravans 

Council supports this application.

            Proposed temporary met mast up to 140m high to gather a range of meteorological date during c. 18-month period as part of overall feasibility assessment for the electrolysis, wind and PV at Jepco including the repowering of Red House Wind Farm

Year end accounts and net position were circulated prior to meeting.

Council RESOLVED to sign of Year End accounts.

28.23 TO UPDATE ON PLANS FOR KINGS CORONATION

Cllr Reynolds and Hammersley will be attending an assembly at Gedney School on 3rd May to distribute

the Coronation mugs to the children. The Clerk has again contacted Gedney Drove End School for a time and date but as yet no reply has been received.

 

29.23 TO CONSIDER PARISH COUNCIL RESPONSIBILITES AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

a. Cemetery: All in good order if a bit wet.

b. Walker Memorial Park: All in good order

c. Queen Mother Nature Reserve:

The replacement posts and strand of wire has now been completed.

d. Gedney Dyke Village Green Play Area: All in good order.

e. Allotments: April rent invoices have been sent out.

f. Any Other area: Nothing to report.

 

30.23 CONSULTATIONS

Council discussed the NALC consultation on the infrastructure Levy.

Council RESOLVED for Cllr Hammersley to put together a draft reply for Council to consider at the May meeting.

 

32.23 TO RESOLVE ON REVIEWING POLICY AND PROCEEDURES

  2. Grant Awarding Policy

Council reviewed and amended as needed the above policies.

 

33.23 TO CONSIDER GRANT APLICATION FOR RURAL PROSPERITY FUNDING

AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

Council RESOLVED not to apply for this grant.

 

34.23 TO CONSIDER GRANT APPLICATION TO WINDFARM AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

  1. Queen Mother Nature reserve Fence

Following a discussion council voted 5 votes to one in favour (Cllr Hammersley voted against).

Three quotations were considered, Four Counties Fencing was the chosen quotation.

35.23 HIGHWAYS & FOOTWAYS

a. Update on outstanding matters:

Cllr Hammersley updated Council.

The article in the local press regarding the long awaited 20mph signs at GDE school was discussed.

Council RESOLVED for the Clerk to Contact County Cllr Coupland to request the name of the Officer he has been dealing with at LCC on this matter and to again request information on how to request a bridleway.

Missing streetlights in Pit Lane and Junction of Main Rd and Marsh Road reported again.

b. To report any new matters.

Several new potholes were reported.

 

36.23 DATE OF NEXT MEETING: 9th May 2023 at Gedney Drove End Village Hall at 7pm.

 

 

37.23 To Resolve for the council to move into closed session for discussion of the following agenda items.

Due to the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

Council RESOLVED not to move to closed session.
