The Chairman welcomed those present and informed Council of the resignation of Cllrs Richardson and Marchent.

126.20 TO ADOPT NEW STANDING ORDERS

Council RESOLVED to accept the updated Standing orders as put before them

 

127.20 TO CONSIDER PARISH COUNCIL RESPONSIBILITES AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

a. Gedney Dyke Village Green Play Area

Councillor to inspect Play area: Cllr Rollings

Councillor to update Noticeboard: Cllr Rollings

b. To Elect new Council Highways Officer: Council RESOLVED that Cllr Buddle be elected to this position.

c. To Elect new Planning Officer: Council RESOLVED that Cllr Hammersley be elected to this position.

d. Councillor to check Gedney Dyke defibrillator: Cllr Shaw

e. Walker Memorial Park

To Resolve on supply and fit of 2 goal posts

Council have been approached by a number of Parish Children requesting goal posts in the park, at present there is only one small post. The Clerk has obtained a quotation of £872 + VAT to supply and deliver. District Cllr Reynolds has offered a Grant of £500 towards this project. A quotation of £285 to remove and dispose of old post and installation of 2 x new posts has been received from Mr Chadwick.

Council Thanked Cllr Reynolds for her contribution and RESOLVED to accept quotations and continue with project.

f. Queen Mother Nature Reserve.

To consider action over ramps that have appeared.

Council RESOLVED to place notices on said ramps requesting their removal and informing that if left they will be removed and disposed of.

128.20 TO CONCIDER COUNCIL WEB SITE AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

129.20 TO CONCIDER COUNCILLOR EXPENCES AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY

Council RESOLVED to pay Councilors mileage costs for work within the Parish at a rate of 45p per mile

Payable on a 6-monthly basis.
