COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE AND
RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY a. LCC Website. Due to the time limits set to publish an accessible web site, the work
involved in utilizing the LCC model and financial cost in overtime. Council
RESOLVED to contract a Web management company to set up and manage a web
site. Following a discussion Council RESOLVED to accept the quotation from Netwise UK. 135.20 TO CONSIDER PLANNING

Holland District Council: Withdrawn: None Appeals: 136.20 Clerks Report The Clerk advised: All correspondence from the July and August
meetings have been dealt with. The Clerk did attend the LCC Web Site training at
the end of July and reported to Council on her findings. The annual inspection of both play areas has been
completed and the reports arrived today. 137.20 TO CONSIDER FINANCIAL MATTERS AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY a.
Items for payment under section 137: none b. Accounts for payment Cllr Reynolds proposed payments
be made as put before them, Cllr Hammersley seconded, Item RESOLVED.

and signed payments. (Cllr Shaw prior to meeting as ne
w would be absent) c. To RESOLVE on Grant Funding applications for 2021 On
application for a grant had been received from St Mary Magdalene Church, Gedney for £500 towards maintenance of the Churchyard.
Following a lengthy discussion Cllr Hammersley proposed a grant of £100, 2
votes in favor, 2 votes against, the Chairman used her casting vote against
the motion. Cllr
Rollings proposed a grant of £250, 2 votes in favor, 2 against, the Chairman
used her casting vote in favor of the motion. Council
RESOLVED to give a grant of £250.00. d. Money in: Cemetery £800, Grant fron SHDC towards Goal
posts £500 The Chairman thanked Cllr Reynolds for her grant. e. Update on Bank debit card To date Clerk has had no reply from Barclays with
regards to this application, it is assumed the application never arrived. 138.20 TO CONSIDER CORRESPONDENCE

RESPONSIBILITES AND RESOLVE ACCORDINGLY a. Cemetery Cllr Rollings reported both gates
had been painted by a member of the parish, Clerk has sent a letter of
thanks. i.
Memorial request Council RESOLVED to agree this
request b. Walker Memorial Park Cleaning and reopening of play
area has been completed. i.
Update on goal posts: Posts are now installed and in use,
the local children have expressed their thanks. ii. Installation of Gym equipment: This item to be deferred to
February Agenda with installation hoped for March 2021. Clerk to contact
suppliers and explain situation. iii. ROSPA report: These have now been circulated to
all Councillors. c. Queen Mother Nature Reserve. Wooden blocks are still oni site, Clerk to chase removal. d. Gedney Dyke Village Green Play
Area Play area cleaned and open. i.
Reallocation of inspection- Cllrs Rollings and Hammersley alternate months e. Allotments i.
Allotment inspection was carried out in July and all looked satisfactory ii. Rent Increase for October 2021 Council RESOLVED to keep rents at
present rate. f. Any Other area. -none 140.20 TO RESOLVE ON REPLIES TO
CONSULTATIONS. None 141.20 TO RESOLVE ON ADOPTING NEW
& AMENDED POLICIES (All policies circulated prior to
meeting) Disciplinary and grievance. Equal opportunities. Expenses. Complaints. Communications. Risk Register. Environmental. Reserves. Planning. Annual Leave. Council RESOLVED to adopt all the
above. 143.20 TO RESOLVE ON ADOPTING
UPDATED BUSINESS PLAN (Circulated
prior to meeting) Council RESOLVED to adopt the plan 144.20 ITEMS TO BE CONSIDERED
FOR 2021/22 BUDGET Items for the Clerk to get
quotations for: Picnic Table and Benches for QM Gate/ Barrier for QM Football Wall for WMP Replacement foundation plinth for
Cemetery Cutting hedge 2x per year on
footpath from Main Rd to Dawsmere Rd GDE Putting drainage pipe under
culvert at entrance to QM Clerk was instructed to apply for
a grant from Tesco bags of help to assist with some of the above. 145.20 HIGHWAYS & FOOTWAYS a. Update on outstanding matters- 20mph signage outside School in
Main Rd GDE should now be looked at as schools are back. b. To report any new matters None 146.20 DATE OF NEXT MEETING:
October 13th 7.30pm, Platform = Zoom 147 .20 To Resolve for the council
to move into closed session for discussion of the following agenda items. Due to the confidential nature of
the business to be transacted. Council RESOLVED to go into closed
session. Member of the Press left the
meeting at 7.55pm 148.20 TO DISCUSS STAFFING MATTERS Cllr Reynolds gave a report to
Council on the Clerks Annual Review. Cllr Rollings informed Council of
the NALC pay scales for 2020. There
